POLICY. A Chicago Sustainability Series Dialogue

Mar 30, 2017 – 6:00 PM

More Info

The Chicago Sustainability Series inaugural season continues March 30th from 6 - 8 PM with POLICY, a Dialogue with Joyce Coffee (President, Climate Resilience Consulting), Deborah Stone (Director, Cook County Department of Environmental Control), and Ashley Munson (Policy Coordinator, Illinois Environmental Council). As grassroots and popular representation is key for policymaking, we are fundraising (100% of all proceeds) for The Chicago Sister March of The People's Climate March, April 29th, 2017.  The POLICY Dialogue will explore green policymaking at the municipal, county, state, and global level, local progress, and lessons from these contexts moving forward.  Additionally, our panelists will discuss the importance of data and metric driven decision making in their roles, which aligns well with our host, Civis Analytics.  Civis Analytics provide data analytics to provide accurate and predictive strategy and storytelling for their clients with a focus on civic and political engagement.  Thank you to our partners, Healthy Soil Compost and Nature’s Little Recyclers for providing composting services, and to Chicago Votes for ensuring that folks can register at The Dialogue.  Upon registration, the address to Civis Analytics will be provided.  More to be announced soon.  Tomás de’Medici  Founder,  The Chicago Sustainability Series
