More Info

Lollapalooza: Lollapalooza is an American music festival featuring alternative rock, hip hop, and punk rock bands, dance and comedy performances, and craft booths. It has also provided a platform for non-profit and political groups. Lollapalooza has featured a diverse range of bands and has helped expose and popularize alternative groups such as Nine Inch Nails, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Hole.

Conceived and created in 1991 by Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell as a farewell tour for his band, Lollapalooza ran annually until 1997, and was revived in 2003. From its inception through 1997, and its revival in 2003, the festival toured North America. In 2004, the festival organizers decided to expand the dates to two days per city, however poor ticket sales forced the 2004 tour to be cancelled. In 2005, Farrell and the William Morris Agency partnered up with Austin, Texas-based company Capital Sports Entertainment and retooled it into its current format as a weekend destination festival in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois.

The Head and the Heart: Composed primarily of transplants to the Seattle area, The Head and the Heart write and play songs that speak to the newness of a fresh start, of the ghosts left behind, of moving forward, all brimming with a soulfulness and hope for a better life than the one we've all been sold.

Stylistically, think a folksy Beatles or Crosby Stills Nash & Young with more oomph. Catchy piano melodies stand side by side with a tight trio of harmonies, and solid minimalist drums, groovin bass, and plenty of hand percussion and foot stomps make the live show inspiring and really goddamn fun.

The band's first album will be self-released at the end of June 2010.

Royal Blood: Formed in 2013 by bassist Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher, Royal Blood quickly gained a following due, in part, to support for Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders. Their self-titled debut was released in August of 2014, featuring the single "Out of the Black." Royal Blood has received a great reception playing huge music festivals like South by Southwest, T in the Park, Reading festival, and Download Festival.

The London Souls: The London Souls are rock’n'roll, straight up with the slightest twist of soul and a little dash of the blues. They play loud, they play raucous and they play with every bit of their bodies, as any good rock musician should; but perhaps the even better news is that unlike a lot of what passes for rock these days, they haven’t lost sight of what good music sounds like, no matter how loud it is. (Derek Evers, thetripwire.com)

Their debut full-length record was recorded with producer Ethan Johns at London’s Abbey Road Studios, and is slated for an early 2011 release.

Blossoms: The formation of Blossoms couldn't have happened more organically, as all members of the band went to the same high school at one time another, and lived within a short distance from each other. They all played in different bands that played at the same venues, and eventually Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan, and Myles Kellock gravitated towards one another due to similar musical tastes and styles.

Blossoms released their debut, independently produced single, "You Pulled a Gun on Me", in 2014, and signed to Skeleton Records later that year. By fall, the band had released their debut EP, Bloom, and were touring across the UK on weekends while holding steady jobs during the week. By 2015, Blossoms was touring with The Courteeners, as well as playing some major UK festivals.

The group achieved major recognition for their 2015 EP At Most a Kiss, which was supported by the hit single "Charlemagne". The song also appeared on Blossoms' debut, eponymous studio album, which was released in 2016. The album shot to the top of the UK Albums Chart, and was featured on NME's Albums of the Year.

Kaskade: “Kaskade’s signature sound is as unmistakable as it is beautiful; a combination of dewy female vocals, tough electronic underpinnings, and memorable melodies.” -- Billboard

The New York Times may have called him the “new face of electronic dance music” in a recent profile, but Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the EDM scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest, Fire & Ice, scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé, appeared at all the major summer festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today, which has opened doors for the likes of Deadmau5, Tiesto, Skrillex and more. In doing so, he has helped to lay the groundwork for a titanic musical and cultural shift: a post-rock EDM revolution that has captured the imagination of a new generation of music lovers across North America

Kaskade has been named America’s No. 1 DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. In 2012, he will appear at this year’s Coachella, for which he has a special performance planned, and will hit the road in May for his biggest headlining tour ever — 50-plus North American shows in just over three months. His own live show is a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of an 80-foot wide, three-stories tall LED screen that blares images synched with the music while strobe lights scan the crowd. Kaskade’s belief in the transformative power of dance music to uplift thousands of people at once has had a significant effect on the U.S. scene. His ground-breaking double residency in Las Vegas at the Encore Beach Club (which had not even been built when he signed on) and Marquee has elevated the city’s status as a premiere club-going destination on par with London, Berlin, and Ibiza, is another testament to his influence.

Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Raddon was heavily influenced by New Wave bands like The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and The Smiths that ignited his love for melody and lyrics and was strongly impacted by the house music scene that developed in Chicago. Following stints spinning throughout college and in A&R at OM Records, he began working on his own music, which includes multiple singles, EPs, and remixes, as well as the albums: his most recent 2011 release Fire & Ice – which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at No. 4 on the overall album chart. The Fire disc contains ten original songs geared firmly toward the dancefloor, while on the Ice disc, Kaskade delivers the perfect down-tempo post-club experience by remixing all ten songs. Both discs showcase the musical versatility tat has characterized his work ever since he began writing his own songs. This album was preceded by It’s You, It’s Me (2003), In the Moment (2004), The Calm (2006), Here & Now (2006), Love Mysterious (2006), Strobelite Seduction (2008), Dynasty (2010) and Dance.Love (2010).

.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
