Little Book of Jewish Appetizers: A Demo with Leah Koenig
Leah Koenig's new cookbook, Little Book of Jewish Appetizers, culminates over 25 starters that draws from classic Jewish culinary traditions. From a Moroccan Orange and Black Olive Salad, to Lahmajun, a small flatbread topped with ground lamb or beef, you're sure to find recipes that are savory, and pay tribute to the unique Jewish influences that have been a part of a culture for thousands of years. Please join us as we welcome Leah Koenig on September 7 to talk about the process of creating her new cookbook. She will also demo two recipes: Smokey Sweet Potato Hummus, a recipe from her new book, Little Book of Jewish Appetizers, and Pomegranate Molasses's Meatballs, a recipe from her first book, Modern Jewish Cooking. Tickets for the tasting, talk and signing are $10. You can pre-order her book for an additional $16.71 (20% discount + sales tax); it will also be available for sale on the day of the event at full price. Also, you can pre-order her first book, Modern Jewish Cooking, for $37.87 (20% discount + sales tax); it, too, will be available for sale on the day of the event at full price.
