A martial art that combines dance, music, and acrobatics, capoeira originated in the 16th century during the slave trade in Brazil. Gingarte Capoeira hosts a workshop and performance to teach participants about the martial art in conjunction with the exhibition "Ângela Ferreira: Zip Zap and Zumbi." The DePaul Art Museum is an Anchor Site of the Chicago Architecture Biennial with support from The Chicago Community Trust.  There will be two one-hour sessions at 2pm and 3pm.
